Vanilla Custard


1 Egg 
2 cups Milk 
1 tbsp butter
1/2 cup Sugar 
2 tsp Vanilla essence  
2 tbsp Cornflour (Cornstarch)

  1. Take a container. Whisk egg thoroughly. Add sugar& butter.  Beat well.
  2. Mix corn flour & milk and add to the above.
  3. Transfer the container on a medium heat.
  4. Keep on stirring till you obtain a thick mix. If its not becoming thick, you can add more cornflour.  
  5. Add vanilla essence . Stir & take off from the flame & allow it to cool. If there are small lumps, you can either blend or sieve the custard.
  6. Refrigerate for 2 hours & its ready. You can use this custard for fruit salad also. Just mix with your desired fruits (apple/mango/grapes/banana etc)
